Life happens. Does it happen to you too? Yes, I guess so! Sometimes we feel like we are rolling and there’s nothing that can stop us. That’s such a wonderful time and everything goes so well and smoothly, no effort required to accomplish tasks and do things. Our energy is high. Sometimes, the right opposite happens and we drag, nothing goes according to our plans, we feel tired, exhausted, the energy is low, we don’t know where to turn and what to do. We feel like we’re in a hole and can’t seem to see a ladder to climb out on to. People tell us “You have to stay positive” but it’s so hard! So what to do and what’s happening? Well, everything happens for a reason! There is a lesson we should learn. There is a nugget of wisdom, the guarding angels want us to learn a lesson. I feel like we all are fighting with this feeling of “I am not good enough”. It’s haunting us like a shadow – wherever we are, wherever we go… It’s somewhat at the back of our minds and when we don’t want to hear it, the gremlin of “Not good enough” jumps out over and over again. Who isn’t fearful sometimes?! Or all the times?! What’s in our way when we really want something and the gremlin in the head keeps telling us – you’re not good enough, you can’t do it, that’s too much, no one’s gonna like it etc. It’s fear. Who’d have though it can be a good thing?! Am I not making sense?! Look at this: Fear in it’s core is a good thing. It protects us from danger. That’s its primary function! So if we had no fear, it’s actually life threatening! Now – when the fear gets overpowering, it’s holding us back. It keeps us away from progressing, expanding, learning, growing, etc. What a shame?! So what shall we do? 1. First – Switch the perspective from the bad fear to the good fear. Take the “what’s good about it” perspective and find the kernel of the truth for the fear. Alright, meditation is not a mystery but sounds pretty mysterious! At least for those who never tried to meditate and only saw the zen-like pictures of meditating individuals. I purposely chose the blog picture to reflect the well-known fact. There are so many articles out there that describe the benefits of meditation. I have recently posted a very interesting article on my Facebook page. Yes, worth reading too! ? Today with the technology, the doctors can really observe how new neuropathways are being created in the meditator’s brain, how this brain reacts to positive and negative emotions and much more. Personally, I can truly say that meditation helps me to recharge my inner batteries. 15-20 minutes a day feels like an extra hour of sleep, or even more!
